Individual Therapy – A one-to-one process with you and a trained Therapist

Couples Counseling – A strength-based interactional process that includes you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, partner, life partner or significant other and a trained Therapist. The Sloane Center welcomes gay/lesbian bisexual and transgender couples

Marital Therapy – A strength-based interactional process that includes you and your spouse and a trained Therapist

Family Therapy – A strength-based interactional process that includes all those family members and/or significant others who are determined to be part of the family system and are involved in the issue(s) bringing you to therapy. Family does not have to include biological members only; it is based on who is considered by the family to be a part of the family, with a trained Therapist.

Pre-Marital Counseling – We are a Certified Pre-Marital Counseling Provider in both Broward and Dade Counties.
Pre-Marital counseling is offered to all individuals (Gay/Lesbian/Heterosexual) who are seeking to marry in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. For those individuals who are seeking to wed in the near future, Pre-Marital Counseling is designed to identify areas of strength as well as difference in the relationship, in an effort to resolve those differences prior to the wedding. We can assist couples in role identification within the relationship, spousal expectations, clarity of financial roles and dealing with issues of children, in-laws, geographic changes and other issues specific to the sharing of one’s life with another.

Parenting Classes – Dr. Sloane Veshinski is now DCF Approved to conduct parenting classes for those individuals going through a divorce, with children, in the State of Florida. EasyParentingClass.com

Weddings/Marriage Ceremonies – Dr. Sloane Veshinski is now Ordained by the Universal Life Church to officiate non-denominational weddings.

Addictions Counseling - Whether the issue is drugs, alcohol, gambling, Internet, work, sexual addiction or a combination of issues, treatment is available. As a Certified Addictions Professional, Sloane will work with you and your family (if desired and indicated) to create a plan of recovery regardless of the addiction. Services are provided to those who are motivated to work hard and make changes in their life.

Biopsychosocial Evaluations – a comprehensive evaluation of the person/family which includes the individual and family assessments, and recommendations to the Court/attorney/individual

Social Investigations – a biopsychosocial evaluation in addition to a home study, communications with additional resources, review of all records (court, psychological evaluations, etc), and recommendations for change or improvement of the current situation

Immigration Evaluations – Dr. Sloane Veshinski will provide a Bio-Psycho-Social assessment for those individuals seeking immigration status in the United States and need to prove their marriage or their need to be in the USA due to hardship or other issues

Family Mediation – to assist parties in resolving family, marital and post-dissolution issues including, but not limited to Marital Settlement Agreements and Parenting Plans

Reunification Therapy – A process by which we assist mothers/fathers and children to reconnect after a difficult separation/divorce process utilizing therapeutic skills and interventions

Presentations – We can present on a variety of topics related to mental health care, relationships, addictions and HIPAA

Sloane and Associates are also available to work with issues of high conflict marriage, divorce, and post-divorce (Therapy and Parent Coordination). We provide both Supervised and Therapeutic Supervised Visitation services. We are also available for consultation and presentations on a variety of topics. Call for details.

SCHEDULING AND FEES

Initial appointments are 1 hour in duration. The sessions that follow are typically 50 minutes in duration and occur once weekly, although we are flexible and open to the scheduling needs of our clients.

Our rate is $300 per hour, and payment is discussed at the time the initial appointment is scheduled. We accept insurance*, and payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

There is a $100 fee for all no-show and late cancellation appointments. A credit card number will be obtained at the time a client schedules their initial appointment.
